LIBRARY

The Withlacoochee Regional Planning Council library has more than 6,000 books, reports, periodicals and maps, and is a professional library designed primarily for use by our planning staff. In an effort to afford our local governments and the general public access to materials which are of a special nature and may not be otherwise available to them, we have set the following policies to accommodate them.

The library is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., except for holidays.

It is recommended that an appointment be made to visit the library to ensure materials requested for review are available and that a staff member will be present to answer questions.

Some materials are for reference only and are not to be removed from the library. There is no charge to borrow library materials; however, there is a two-week time limit. Failure to return materials on time will result in the user not being allowed to borrow additional library materials until previously borrowed materials are returned.

Photocopies of materials are to be made by Council staff only, and may not be available immediately. The cost is ten cents per page. If materials cannot be copied at the time of the visit, user shall leave materials to be copied, and will be notified when materials are available to be picked up or mailed (postage added).
